Subscriptions
This is being posted on the homepage as a reminder to all. It is very important that subscriptions are paid on time. Its has been said before and we will say it again.
There are lots of expenses to running a junior football club. Winter training, referee fees etc.. all this has to be paid on time so subscriptions need to be paid on time.
Can everyone please make sure that you are paid up to date and if there are any problems see your manager or Shirley as soon a possible.
Cup Final
Our Under 16s were beaten 2-1 in a very close game against Sheffield Wednesday. Unlucky girls, but very well done for reaching the final.
End Of Season Presentation Night
The presentation night will be held on the Friday 16th May, starting at 7pm at the Silverwood Miners Welfare. Tickets will be on sale at £1.50 for adults (kids go free). We are also now looking for people to ask their work, family and friends if they would donate prizes towards the raffle. Please see March Newsletter for more details
Charity Match
We raised £220 at the charity match on the 12th April in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust between the Under 14 Girls and Rotherham Town Under 14 boys.
A massive thank you to everyone involved and to all those that came along and supported the event.

Summer Tournament 2008
Your Managers have received the current list of summer tournaments. If you are interested in going to any of these, can you please let your managers know, and also inform them of any summer holidays booked so they can plan which tournaments they can enter with regards to player availability.

BELL GEARS LTD
Bell Gears Ltd have kindly sponsored the Under 14s for £500 to buy them a new kit for the 2007-2008 season. This is a massive boost to the club. From everyone at the club, and especially the Under 14s, a big Thank You.
Forums
Can people please related with the club register on the forums as soon as possible. It is a valuable source of information and a great way to communicate during the week. I know several parents and players, including people who run the club hate finding out information at the last minute. By using the forums it keeps you up to date, allows you to put forward anything for discussion. As we have stated in the past the Club meetings once a month are open to all parents but many choose not to go and rely on the training days or match days for information, but by using the forums and sharing information you will soon start to see the benefits.
