First of all the Chairman has asked that we congratulate last season’s Under 15 team who won both the league and the cup.    Also, the Under 16s were runners up in the league.  Well done to both teams.

The Club did a recruitment drive during June but because of the bad weather and us having to cancel training on two occasions we did not get as many players as we would have wished.   Therefore, we are asking you all if you know of any girls who want to play football, let them know about us and ask them to come to the training night.

We would, of course, like to say “welcome” to the new players.  The time has come, once again, for us to register the players with the Sheffield and Hallamshire Girls County League.  Most of you know that you will be given a registration card to fill in.  You will need 2 passport size photographs.  You will not require a copy of your birth certificate if you were registered with the Club last year.  New players will require a copy of their birth certificate.

The subscriptions for next season remain the same.  You will need to pay £20 when you hand your registration card in and then £10 per month for 8 months (September 2007 to April 2008 inclusive).

Unfortunately, the Chairman of the Club has handed in his resignation, although he will continue trying to help out until another Chairman has been appointed.  If you are interested in this position please get in touch with a member of the Committee.

The Committee meet once a month for their meetings, we really could do with more people on the Committee.  The next meeting will be held on Thursday 19th July after training.  These meetings are held at Silverwood.  The meetings are open to any parent/carer so you are invited to attend whenever you want to.
