ROTHERHAM TOWN GIRLS U13
3 - 3
BIRKS HOLT
  Laura D, 2 OGs
A very good game for the Under 13s, both teams, considering that this was the first time they had played on a bigger pitch with bigger nets. The goals for Rotherham came from 2 own goals and 1 from Laura D. The players settled in well and had many chances of scoring but not quite managing to get the ball into the net. The man of the match was Laura D. Congratulations to the Birks Holt team and supporters for a very friendly game.

This was a really good game, one of the best so far.  Both teams playing exceedingly well. Rotherham Town went 2 - 1 down at half time, the goal was a brilliant volley from Emily Hope.  After half time, Rotherham equalised with a goal from Laura Downs, the visitors scored yet again making it 3 - 2.  Sophie Smith then scored (3-3) and Beighton came up with another goal.  There was a scramble at the goal mouth but Natalie Pursehouse managed to get the goal in the net and equalised once again.  Just before the final whistle Sophie Smith got another goal and a fantastic win for our girls.  Congratulations to both teams and supporters.

DODWORTH MINERS
  Danni 2, Laura,Natalie, Kate, Nicole
The game got off to a good start with Danni scoring very early, this was closely followed by another goal from Laura. The Rotherham defence played very well keeping the ball away from our keeper. The game itself was equally played by both teams and Rotherham Town Girls had plenty of shots at the goal but not finding the net. At half time Rotherham were 2 goals up. After half time the visitors scored making the score 2 - 1. Emily Hope had plenty of long shots for the goal but unfortunately not finding the net. There was plenty of good football from both sides and Danni scored yet again. The next was a goal from a corner which was beautifully taken by Emily who placed the ball in the right position for Natalie to kick the ball into the net. Katie was in the right place to score the next goal after some good passing from her team mates. The final goal came from Nicola making the score 6-1.

The Under 13s came up against a very strong team in Barnsley, who are top of the league and have won all their games so far. The Rotherham girls played very well and at half time the score was 0 - 0 with the girls in defence keeping the ball away from the goal. In the second half they were not so lucky with the Barnsley Girls scoring two goals. Emily, once again had several long shots but could not manage to get the ball in the net. After half time the visitors came back with a vengeance and scored 2 goals in quick succession.  Laura went down the midfield and scored, then shortly after Sophie scored once again.  Laura managed to get a hat trick scoring another two goals.  A good game with both teams playing well.  Congratulations to Bramley Sunnyside supporters also.
